Day 64: Yosemite National Park

October 25, 2017

Unfortunately, our hotel room had paper thin walls, and we were awoken by a man yelling on the phone at 4:00 am. At least we got an early start…

We ate breakfast at the hotel and drove to Yosemite National Park. We drove up to Glacier Point and took in the astounding views of the valley. I’ll let the pictures do the talking. We then drove into the valley and took a few short trails, ate a picnic lunch, and got ready to tackle one of the harder trails – Vernal Falls/Nevada Falls. Lauren was not so keen on the hike after the first couple miles up a very steep trail so we turned back after viewing Vernal Falls. Myles was not too disappointed having done the entire trail on a family trip a few years prior.

We left the park and drove to Exeter, CA (near Sequoia National Park) and stayed at a Best Western that was in the hood.

End Day 64.

That park is, I think, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. If heaven has a park or two like that, I’ll be in heaven!
Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. BTW, what camera are you using for all your great pics?
